कोरोना प्रभावित अर्थव्यवस्था को गति देने के लिए रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (RBI) के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने शुक्रवार को कई बड़े फैसलों का ऐलान किया। सिस्टम में नकदी बढ़ाने से लेकर रिवर्स रेपो रेट में एक महीने के भीतर दूसरी बार कटौती की गई है।

कोविड-19 महामारी के बढ़ते प्रभावों से मुकाबला करने के लिए RBI ने बैंकों की रिवर्स रेपो दर में 0.25 प्रतिशत कटौती कर दी है। Reverse Repo Rate को तत्काल प्रभाव से 0.25 प्रतिशत घटाकर 3.75 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है।  Repo Rate को बरकरार रखा गया है।

रिवर्स रेपो रेट क्या है? (What is Reverse Repo Rate)

दिनभर के कामकाज के बाद बैंकों के पास जो रकम रकम बच जाती है उसे भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक में रख देते हैं। इस रकम पर रिजर्व बैंक उन्हें ब्याज देता है। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक इस रकम पर जिस दर से बैंकों को ब्याज देता है, उसे रिवर्स रेपो रेट (Reverse Repo Rate) कहा जाता है।

आरबीआई गवर्नर ने कहा कि सरकारी व्यय बढ़ने और RBI द्वारा नकदी बढ़ाने के लिए किए गए विभिन्न उपायों से बैंकिंग प्रणाली में अधिशेष तरलता बढ़ी है। केंद्रीय बैंक इसके साथ ही लक्षित दीर्घकालिक रेपो परिचालन (TLTRO) के जरिए अतिरिक्त 50,000 करोड़ रुपये की राशि आर्थिक तंत्र में उपलब्ध कराएगा। यह काम किस्तों में किया जाएगा।

उन्होंने कहा, ”TLTRO 2.0″ के तहत बैंकों में प्राप्त धनराशि को निवेश श्रेणी के बांड, वाणिज्यिक पत्रों और गैर बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों (NBFC) के गैर परिवर्तनीय ऋण पत्रों में निवेश किया जाना चाहिए, जिसमें कुल प्राप्त धनराशि में से कम से कम 50 प्रतिशत छोटे और मझोले आकार के एनबीएफसी और सूक्ष्म वित्त संस्थानों (MFI) को मिलना चाहिए।

The central bank will also provide an additional Rs 50,000 crore to the financial system through targeted long-term repo operations (TLTRO). This work will be done in installments.

He said, funds received in banks under “TLTRO 2.0” should be invested in investment-class bonds, commercial papers and non-convertible debentures of non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), with at least 50 percent of the total received. And medium-sized NBFCs and microfinance institutions (MFIs) should meet.

दास ने राज्यों पर खर्च के बढ़ते दबाव को देखते हुए उनके लिए अग्रिम की सुविधा को 60 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ा दिया है। इससे राज्यों को इस कठिन समय में संसाधन उपलब्ध कराने में मदद मिलेगी। अभी तक इसके लिए 30 प्रतिशत की सीमा थी।  रिजर्व बैंक ने राज्यों के उनके खर्चों के लिए अग्रिम की सीमा को 31 मार्च 2020 की स्थिति के ऊपर बढ़ाते हुए उन्हें 1 अप्रैल से 30 सितंबर 2020 तक बढ़ी हुई 60 प्रतिशत की सुविधा प्रदान की है।

संसार के पालनहार भगवान श्री विष्णु जी ने धर्म की स्थापना और अधर्म के समूल नाश के लिए त्रेतायुग में धरती पर मनुष्य रूप में अवतार लिया था। भगवान विष्णु के अनेक अवतारों में से एक अवतार त्रेता युग में सरयू नदी के तट पर बसी अयोध्या नगरी में सूर्यवंश कुल के राजा दशरथ की महारानी कौशल्या के गर्भ से चैत्र मास की नवमी तिथि अभिजीत मुहूर्त में राम जी ने जन्म लिया था। तब से लेकर आज तक युगों-युगों से चैत्र मास की नवमी तिथि को रामनवमी पर्व मनाया जाता है।

Ram Navami is one of the most important Hindu festivals of India which falls in the ‘ Shukla Paksha’ on the ninth day of the month of Chaitra corresponding to the March/April of the Gregorian calendar. It is also the last day of the Vasanta Navratri. The festival celebrates the birth of the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Rama, to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalaya. While Navratri is celebrated with much fanfare in the North, devotees in the South celebrate Ram Navami with greater fervour.

It is believed that Lord Vishnu was born on the earth as a son to the King of Ayodhya, Dasharatha, to end the atrocities committed by the demons; specially the demon king; Ravana. Ravan had been granted a boon of invincibility against Gods and so, Lord Vishnu was sent in the form of a human. Rama killed Ravana in order to maintain Dharma, on earth. He exemplified the ‘perfect’ person and was the epitome of an example of how to live life in accordance to ‘Dharma’.

Why we celebrate Ram Navami

So, this festival celebrates the victory of Dharma over Adharma.

Fasting on this day signifies purification of body and mind and thus, seeks perfection as a human being.

On the day of Ram Navami, devotees get up early and after bathing, offer water to the Sun God as the Sun God is believed to be the ancestor of Lord Rama. Temples of Rama are beautifully decorated and images of baby Rama are placed in small ‘jhoolas’ (cradles).

Continuous recital of the Holy book of Hindus, Shri Ramacharitamanas, start a day earlier and culminate at noon on Ram Navami, which is considered to be the birth time of Lord Rama. At noon, a conch is blown to mark the birth of the Lord. The idol of Rama is lovingly given a bath and dressed in finery. Devotees place flowers at the feet of the Lord and then, rock the cradle in a form of worship.

In Ayodhya(Uttar Pradesh), which is believed to be the birth place of Lord Rama, devotees bathe in the Saryu River. This is supposed to purify the body and soul of the devotee. Many devotees also fast on this day.

In the south of India, devotees celebrate this festival as the day Lord Rama and Goddess Sita got married, symbolising the love bondage between husband and wife. In Rameshwaram, devotees take a bath in the sea before performing prayers at the Ramanathaswamy temple.

How we celebrate Ram Navami

In the North, those who keep fast, eat only fruits or sweets made without any grain. After the birth of Lord Rama, devotees eat a meal made with ‘Kutuu’ or ‘Singhara’ flour.

In the South, certain food items are prepared on this day and offered to the Lord (Naivedyam) before it is consumed by the others as a ‘prasad’. These include ‘Panakam’(a drink made with jaggery), ‘Neer Mor’(buttermilk), ‘Vadai Parupu’(a light moong dal salad) etc .

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET Online Form

Before knowing how to apply for UGC NET 2020, let’s have a look at UGC NET Eligibility Criteria which is listed as follows:

Education Qualification for UGC NET 2020

Candidates have to secure at least 55% of marks in the Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from a university recognized by UGC. However, the reserved candidates will have to secure at least 50% of the marks.

The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination have been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e.from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.

For JRF: Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age as on 01-06-2020.

Part I: Registration

• Click on – ‘Fill Online Application Form UGC NET June 2020’ present on the home page.
• A new page will open. Now click on the button “New Registration”.
• An instruction page will be displayed. Read it and click on the ‘check box’ present at the bottom of the page. Thereafter, click on the button ‘Click Here To Proceed‘.

• Candidate’s Communication Details which includes Address, Locality, City, District, State, PIN Code, Permanent Address, etc.
• Educational Details which includes details of Schools and Colleges studied in, Name of the Course, Name of the College, Year of Passing, etc.
• Apart from the above details, candidates also need to choose their preferred exam centre, post applying for, subjects applied for, etc.
• After filling in all the details, verify them and click on “Submit”.

Part III: Uploading Photograph And Signature

Candidates need to upload the scanned images of their Photograph and Signature as specified below:

• The scanned image must be in jpg/jpeg format.
• The size of the scanned image of the photograph should be in between 10kb to 200kb and the dimension should be of 3.5cm X 4.5 cm.
• The size of the scanned image of the signature should be between 4kb to 30kb and the dimension should be of 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm.
• After uploading the document candidates must preview their uploaded images.
• Once completed click on the “Submit” button.

Part IV: Fee Payment

• Once you have successfully uploaded the images, the next step is to pay the prescribed UGC NET application fee.
• Candidates need to pay the fees through online mode only.
• Choose one of the online payment methods and pay the application fee by entering all the required details.
• After the successful fee payment, take the print out of the application form for future reference.
