LIC AAO / AE Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
To apply for LIC AAO 2020, the candidate should have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years at the time of registration. The relaxation of upper age by Category. The relaxation of upper age is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category candidates.
The newly proposed according to 7th Pay Commission, Basic Pay of LIC AAO is Rs. 32000 per month along with other allowances. If it’s implemented, then the salary of LIC AAO will become approx Rs. 44000 (in hand per month) including all benefits.
There are no such restrictions in attempting LIC AAO exam. You can give the exam as many times as you can according to your age criteria.
There Full form of LIC is Life Insurance Corporation. And Full form of AAO is Assistant Administrative Officer.
There is no negative marking in Preliminary exam and English/Hindi Language test will be of qualifying nature and marks in Language section will not be counted for ranking. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers in mains exam and and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. One-fourth of the total marks will be deducted for the question marked wrong by the candidate.
LIC AAO & AE 2020 Prelims Exam will be conducted on 4th April 2020 and mains exam date updates will be available soon.
